Our privacy policy is very simple. We respect your right to privacy. We do not sell customer information to any outside company or third party, so your information is always kept confidential with us.
Terms of Sale:
50% Graphic Design Fee non-refundable deposit due on all jobs prior to commencement of work. Balance due upon completion, prior to the release of printed materials, digital files, or upload of digital files to clients host/server. All printing orders must be prepaid, in FULL. Designs By Rachelle does NOT participate in Bartering. All services require full payment.
In the occurrence of insufficient funds funds will be collected electronically for the amount of the check along with the state imposed fee.
Turnaround Time:
Please allow 3-4 day turnaround time for graphic design and 30 days for basic web design assignments once a complete order is placed. Allow 3-5 day turnaround time for printing once a final proof is approved. Quoted turnaround times start when clients order is verified all agreements, forms and/or contracts have been submitted, and provided that Designs By Rachelle has received all images, artwork, digital files, security permissions, usernames, passwords, textual content, and any other content or information needed to create clients project. Turnaround times vary and are not guaranteed.
Rush Service (Graphic Design ONLY):
To qualify for 48 hour rush service, order must be placed, images, artwork, digital files, and/or textual content, and all files approved within 24 hours. Rush orders are subject to a $50.00 rush charge.
Content, Image, Artwork & File Requirements:
Designs By Rachelle does NOT write, create, or edit content. All textual content must be supplied as it should appear on clients website or final graphic design. In an effort to maintain low costs, all content should submitted to Designs By Rachelle must be in a digital format. Designs By Rachelle will accept photos, logos, and artwork up to 8.50″ x 11″ for scanning, and digital files contained on Zip Disk, Floppy Disk, and/or CD. Please do not write on, staple, clip, cut, fold, or alter submitted photographs of artwork. All photographs and artwork are kept on file for future work unless you request that they be returned upon completion. Orders that do not meet the minimum requirements will not be processed.
All content and client design specifications must be supplied prior to initiating work on project. Any changes made to initial content received by Designs By Rachelle will result in an additional charge.
Proofs:
Designs By Rachelle strongly recommends that all design work receive at least a one-time proofing by the client to ensure that all information is correct. Clients are 100% responsible for the accuracy of layouts. Please proofread all layouts carefully. A signed authorization must accompany each proof before printing cycles are started and before files are made active online. Any changes made to intitial content and/or instructions received by Designs By Rachelle will result in a minimum service charge of $60 per hour. Any additional changes made after the final proof approval will be billed at a minimum of $30.00 each to be paid in full before order is completed.
Designs By Rachelle will reproduce color from submitted photos, or digital layouts as closely as possible, but cannot exactly match color and density because of limitations in the printing process and digital media. Designs By Rachelle accepts no responsibility for color variations between submitted images and the actual artwork or product they represent whether in print or online.
Client’s Alterations:
It is the Client’s responsibility to check the proof carefully and thoroughly. There shall be no charges to the Client for revisions or corrections or additions made necessary by errors on the part of Designs By Rachelle prior to authorization to print. Any other changes requested by the Client shall be considered Client’s Alterations if they are requested after the acceptance of the authorization to print. Client alterations and/or changes from the original submitted specifications and submitted material will be subject to an additional charge. After signed final proof approval, any changes will be billed separately.
Refund Policy:
Graphic Design – A full refund, less the non-refundable 50% design deposit is available prior to release, to the client, of graphic designs and/or digital files created by Designs By Rachelle, and prior to Designs By Rachelle receiving a signed authorization of proof acceptance. After proof has been accepted, no refund is available on graphic and design services.
Printing Services – Printing fees are 100% non-refundable if printing cycles have begun. If a printing fee refund is requested prior to the commencement of printing cycles, a full refund of printing fees, less a $25 processing fee will be issued.
All refund requests must be received in writing. U.S. Postal mail and fax notifications are acceptable. Phone requests will not constitute acceptance of any refund request.
Design Credit:
Designs By Rachelle will print and/or include a small graphic or web design credit on the completed projects which will state either, “another Designs By Rachelle Creation 407.766.1700″, “DesignsByRachelle.com”, or “DesignsByRachelle.com 407.766.1700″; unless client requests in writing that the credit not be printed.
Designs By Rachelle reserve the right to use any submitted materials or finished product for promotional purposes. .All materials we create in producing your job are the property of Designs By Rachelle. This includes typeset layouts, graphics and designs. These materials will NOT be sold or given to any other party. Designs By Rachelle reserve the right to distribute free samples of your job. Your images will not be used in any national advertising without your prior consent.
Right to Refuse:
Designs By Rachelle reserves the right to refuse service for any reason. In no event will Designs By Rachelle be liable to the Client or any third party for any damages, including in lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the refusal of services even if Designs By Rachelle has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification:
The client will indemnify and hold harmless the designer, Designs By Rachelle, from any and all loss, cost expense, and damages on any and all manner of claims, demands, actions and proceeding that may be instituted against the designer on the grounds alleging that said design and/or printing violates any copyright or any proprietary right of any person. It is the clients responsibility to screen the use of photos or artwork which are copyrighted or have copyright pending. You certify that you own the rights to use the image(s) being reproduced.
